College Essay & Application Workshops

A great college application communicates all the necessary information about you as a person. Learn what colleges are looking for and get help writing the essays and applications that best showcases you. This workshop allows students to personalize their essays and applications at their own pace.

Under the supervision of a FLEX College Essay & Application Specialist*, students will:

  • Develop a college application strategy
  • Create an application completion schedule
  • Write a college resume
  • Brainstorm essay topics
  • Find their writing voice
  • Produce clean, polished essays & applications for their UC or Common Application
* (Note: FLEX-certified essay and application specialists receive training from former college admissions officers on what colleges are looking for)
